Awwwww, Jonathan. Now you've got me craving some mint chocolate chip.

We had a B&R right near my house in New Rochelle, and I went there all the time as a kid.

I got tendonitis working at Baskin Robbins when I was 15. I also got kind of chubby--I think that was the result of starting every shift with a banana split. RIP, Irv.

Josephine: Every time I enter a BR, I tell myself I'm going to get something different, try something new. I always come back to mint chocolate chip because I hate to waste an opportunity to have some.

There is no justice. There are, however, thirty-wonderful flavors of ice-cream.

Mint chocolate chip was good. The very first time I went to a B & R, maybe 1965, I ordered licorice and lemon custard. Together. In a cup.
