Google Settles Over Book Scanning
I still haven't read all the details, but it seems that the Authors Guild and the Association of American Publishers have reached a settlement with Google regarding the scanning of books still under copyright protection by Google.
I am so in love with Google Books. If it was a man, I would make deep, passionate love to it.
I just downloaded the Baital Pachisi, a very old book of ghost stories from India, I was unable to find it ANYWHERE in my local libraries, but SURPRISE! Google has it... *swoons*
Jonathan Lyons is a literary agent at Curtis Brown, Ltd., where represents a select list of authors of biographies, history, science, pop culture, sports, general narrative non-fiction, mysteries, thrillers, science fiction and fantasy, and young adult fiction, in addition to serving as subagent in the United States for several agencies in the UK.
